Roland will thoroughly review the script to your next play, film, opera, musical. This can take 1-3 weeks. Once he’s ready to share his observations, you’ll meet for a 90-min. Zoom one-on-one. Roland’s approach considers all the most important factors that make the difference between a hit and a dud. These include: story structure, stylistic clarity, practical production concerns, large questions of meaning and theme and marketing challenges and unique opportunities. For opera and musicals, you’ll also receive detailed evaluation of the music as music. Roland’s background as a composer as well as his years of work directing and producing make this first step an essential stop on your journey.

You are welcome to schedule a free 20-min. Consult with Roland via Zoom if:
• You’ve just joined the RT Inner Circle for the first time (within the past 30 days)
• You are a member of RT Inner Circle Patreon (at the “Hub” level for $22/mo. or higher) Limited to one free private 20-min. session each quarter.
• When you enter the RT Online Writers Workshop, your six month journey begins with a private 20-min. session with Roland to review what’s on the horizon for you and clarify your goals for the workshop.
• You recently completed either an RT online workshop or a Step-One Project Evaluation or a One-Hour Jumpstart (within the past 30 days) and would like to explore how ongoing private work with Roland might support you.

To work with Roland privately on an ongoing basis you must either be an alumnus of the Roland Tec Online Writers Workshop, Cracking the Producers Code or the Roland Tec Action Network or you may submit a writing sample for review in order to be admitted.
